James A. Saad (Jim) is a principal of Saad & Saad LLP and provides counsel primarily in commercial and residential real estate transactions, affordable housing, and business transactions. 
Jim has represented businesses in various transactional matters including assisting businesses in matters of real estate financing development. The financing of such projects has typically been provided through programs of the United States Department of Agriculture, through Rural Development, (f.k.a. Farmers Home Administration) and though, the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and though State Housing Finance Agencies, and through the federal low income housing tax credit program (LIHTC), along with real estate syndications.
He received his J.D. from Capital University Law School in Columbus, Ohio in 1977; and was admitted to the practice of law by the State of Ohio 1977.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Ohio State Bar Association and the Columbus Bar Association. He is admitted to practice before United States Court of Appeals, Sixth Circuit; United States District Court of Ohio, Southern and Northern Districts; United States Tax Court; and Supreme Court of the United States of America.
He is also the President and Founder of Star Title Agency LLC, an independent title agency which provides real estate title insurance and escrow closing services in Ohio, West Virginia, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, Tennessee, Virginia, Maryland, Wisconsin, Illinois, Minnesota, and Pennsylvania.  In Pennsylvania, the company is licensed under the name Settlement Star Services LLC.  He is a past President of the Central Ohio Land Title Association and an active member in the Ohio Land Title Association.

Jim resides in Bexley, Ohio with this wife Marilyn, of 50 + years. He and Marilyn enjoy traveling and spending time with their children and grandchildren.
